Eric and I went on a group hike at the Sunol Regional Wilderness Park. It was way too sunny for a hike that day. I ended up getting slightly sunburned even though I had covered myself in suntan lotion from head to foot. Next time I'll bring an umbrella.
We walked nine miles. Along the way, we passed cows standing in the shade, butterflies enjoying some flowers, and a rattle snake hidden beneath some metal slats. The slats allowed us to get into the cow pastures while keeping the cows from getting out.
